BBC seems to be pushing iPlayer , several mentions from Graham Norton. Not so much DAB or stations like I xtra. Maybe too obscure in their opinion or maybe they see future as online or apps.
The Register has reported that DAB may be too crowded in the UK for a really good sound quality. Internet may be better.
As mentioned before "visual radio" spoken of when Radio 1 visited Exeter, but seems similar to video. "Social broadcasting" more inclusive but a bit vague. Maybe "omnichannel" describes what BBC is doing.
"omnichannel" found this but not obvious in the content. May be a tag somewhere. More clues maybe before June 9th
PS Radio 1xtra much from Africa today, not obviously connected to Biggest Weekend
