Discourse, temp availability of Management Learning online free

Till 8th April there is a special online version of Management Learning that is available free to read. PDF for download also so you only need time to check which bits you need. The topic is "Discourse" so I am interested to see how they describe "content marketing" , actually not found this term so far. Maybe there is a parallel discourse. Radio and music marketing one page, academic publishing on another. But plenty of time till June 9th so something will sort out. Maybe links to text somewhere else. 6 hours is not that long.

The editors also include a recent paper of their own on "Becoming Green, Becoming Leaders" , Helena Heizmann and Helena Liu, University of Technology Sydney. It is about an approach to leadership that is assumed to relate to Buddhist narratives of awakening and self-empowerment. The conclusion seems to favour a "critical constructivist" approach that can view leadership as a "collaborative agency".

I will spend more time on the paper, trying for a number of posts this afternoon.

My first response is to think back to the first two conferences as Management theory at Work. The first had a lot of critique for the idea of a learning company, by the second there was a strong emphasis on leadership. Is there a move back again?

Secondly not sure how to relate this text to a 20 min or so discussion. But somehow this will work out. I will contact Bronwen Rees who spoke at the second conference. Also speak to Anna-Marie Waite who has been a presenter on Phonic FM.
